The purpose of Real Needs is to identify needs, find the items and deliver them to the recipient. Community service agencies on the Palouse can submit a request to Real Needs on behalf of a client. The staff at Real Needs broadcasts the need to their large database of donors. Then a moving team picks up the items from the donor and delivers them to the recipient.

Builds safe, decent, affordable housing for families in need on the Palouse. They build houses where they can find affordable or donated land in Latah and Whitman counties. The three main criteria to apply for a Habitat Home is ability to pay, need for housing, and willingness to partner with Habitat. To qualify you must have lived or worked in Whitman or Latah County for at least the last year, be living in in inadequate housing (i.e. high rent, overcrowding, structural issues, high power bills), and be willing to fulfill partnership obligations, including working 300-400 hours to help build your home.
